Former ABBA singer, Frida joins Dan Daniell, the Zermatt singer, and young musicians from the region to record the Matterhorn anthem “1865”. The CD has been available from 13th February.
The hymne was composed to mark the 150th anniversary of the first ascent. Dan Daniell (real name Urs Biner), a singer and an owner of the top restaurant “Chez Heini”, recorded a song with Frida who lives in Zermatt. The song was written and composed by Daniell, the Zermatt native.
Anni-Frid “Frida” Lyngstad is a former member of the legendary Swedish music group ABBA. The local group “Wintershome” supports the singers in a song that was recorded in Zermatt.
