The Aosta Valley gets highly regarded when The Telegraph announces their lists of the best Mountain restaurants in Italy and worldwide.
According to the UK newspaper half of Italy’s top ten are to be found in the region, Campo Base and Rascard Frantze in Champoluc, La Chaumière and Maison Vieille in Courmayeur and Chalet Etoile in Cervinia.
When it comes to the prestigious list of the ten best mountain restaurants in the world, the welcoming hut Maison Vieille, on the slopes in Courmayeur, ends up on an honorable seventh place while small-scale Frantze, slightly off piste the home run to Champoluc, receives the tenth.
