Four destinations in the Aosta Valley have been included in the “Why in Italy”
“Why in Italy” is an initiative and a web site from The University of Turin with the aim to create a new way of discovering Italy outside touristy clichés.
Italy is here divided into “riserve” (reserves). Each “Riserva” represents an area, with its most curious places and unmissable activities, as well as famous personalities, historical notes, companies and tips on how to visit each suggestion.
The four selected areas from the Aosta Valley are Aosta, Cervino, Gran Paradiso, Monte Bianco and Monte Rosa .
The part dedicated to Monte Rosa is a lot about the mountains, of course, but also about local traditions as the historical, but still very much alive carnivals, what not to miss while here and about a high altitude miracle.
