Monterosa Ski Ski Alp race

At the beginning of March the Monterosa Ski Alp Alpine Ski Touring Race will take place for the 6th time. Competitors will run at night across Monte Rosa, Gressoney Valley to Champoluc.

The 6th edition of the race will take place on March, the 4th. Competitors, in teams of two, will use classic Alpine technique to reach Monte Rosa peaks at 2750m. The race will start and finish in Champoluc, crossing Gressoney Valley at Staffal. It covers 30km tough route.

This year the organisers have prepared some changes as runners will go through a new footpath along a steep black slope from Staffal up to Sitten what makes the race even harder.

The race, divided into two categories – male and female, will start at 6pm in Champoluc and finish there as well (at the end of the Pistone del Bosco C1 piste).

The race begins at 6pm in Champoluc, Ayas. The finish line is also in Champoluc – at the end of the Pistone del Bosco C1 piste.
