Monterosa Ski introduces a ski pass exclusively for ski touring the winter season 2017/2018. This to grant access both to selected lifts, beaten tracks dedicated for ski touring, and the marked ski runs for descending.

"The law expects everyone going down by the prepared pistes to have a ticket" explains Giorgio Munari, president of Monterosa Spa, to the local newspaper Gazzetta Matin.

The experimental solution is the introduction of a daily ticket of 10 euros and a seasonal fare of 49 euros, for access to the beaten track dedicated to ski mountaineers at the top of the skiing area. The ski pass is also valid for the Frachey train in Champoluc and the Stafal-Sant'Anna and Stafal-Gabiet lifts in Gressoney.
