The 4th edition of the Monterosa Walser Ultra Trail is coming at the end of July to Gressoney.
The Monterosa Walser Ultra Trail 2016 is a running competition on mountain tracks. It will take place in Gressoney between 30th and 31st July. This year apart from two standard trails of 20km and 50km, organisers prepared a new one – 114km race that stretches along Gressoney and Ayas Valley.
The itinerary of trails was conceived by: Bruno Brunod (sky running world champion and Forte di Bard Team member), Franco Collé (Italian no. 1 for TdG 2012) and Giancarlo Annovazzi (Italian no. 1 for TdG 2011). The Monterosa Walser Ultra Trail aims at bringing awareness to an Alpine landscape and culture and their uniqueness.
Trails gain from 1000m to 4000m height and cover both amazing perspectives over Monte Rosa and Walser hamlets.
Registration will be closed the 28th July. The full program is available on the Monterosa Walser Ultra Trail website.
