Ski World Cup: sport emotions in La Thuile

After 26 years Ladies’ Alpine Ski World Cup is coming back to La Thuile. The first official training day is behind us, but a lot of sport emotions is waiting until Sunday, the 21st February.

All eyes are on the race track 3 Franco Berthod in La Thuile where the Ski World Cup will start on Friday, the 19th February. Trainings has started today and will be continued tomorrow.

The slope in La Thuile is considered as one of the most beautiful and technical tracks in the world, and one of the most difficult for the female races.

The program, revised due to the allocation of the cancelled race of Crans Montana, foresees the two fast tests on Wednesday and Thursday at 10:30, the downhill races on Friday at 12:00 and Saturday at 10:45, whilst the superG will be on Sunday at 11:15. The program for the side events remains unchanged, with the official opening on Friday at 18:00 in the Planibel Hotel Square.

On Thursday will be also a general test for the television production. Team of 73 people with 23 cameras will be shooting Ski World Cup during these three days full of sport emotions.
