The most beautiful landscape in the heart of the Alps, with all the biggest 4000 meters peaks as a background: Mont Blanc, Monte Rosa, Matterhorn and Gran Paradiso, is the environment of the race. Green pastures and forests, crystal blue lakes, rocks and white glaciers pass by under the eyes of the runners during the week long tour around the whole Aosta Valley, for 330 km and 24.000 meters of elevation gain, starting and ending in Courmayeur.
