At the beginning of April music will take over Zermatt. The Zermatt Unplugged is a music festival over the clouds. There are stages placed over 3000m, and new talented musician join music stars.

The Zermatt Unplugged (April, the 5th-9th) is well known for its special atmosphere at the foot of Matterhorn. Stars like James Morrison, Juanes Simple Minds, Lisa Stansfield, Max Herre & Friends, and Jack Savoretti appear on 13 stages. Zermatt promotes rising stars as well through New Talents Stages program. The Gandegghütte (3030m) will change once again into the jazz temple.

Apart from ticketed concerts there are also 30 free concerts that will take place in different locations like the terrace of the Blue Lounge, the Mont Cervin Palace or outside the Matterhorn Museum.
