These Christmas days flow smoothless, the turist masses have not yet hit the slopes and people have still time to talk - or to spend their hours working the snow to build a jump off pist.
No, the sun wasn't shining hot today and the snow was too hard a crust to hazzle a newcomer to learn so no jumping. Some skiing and boarding with friends and a hot cup of tea at the Rifugio Belvedere. Some of the lifts were closed for hard wind, or perhaps we are still waiting for the busy days of the period between Christmas and New Eve to open the whole ski area.
What better time then go and visit the old lady who lives since a lifetime in the same small village at 2000 m, without water in her house, but always friendly with us, visitors from what we call civilisation? Merry Christmas!
