Christmas time is coming and in several towns in the Aosta Valley it is already possible to participate in Christmas markets. On the Christmas Eve Valtournenche invites for the special event.

Between December and the 6^th of January the “Marché Vert Noël”, Christmas market in Aosta, one-hour drive from Cervinia, changes the town. Visitors can taste delicious local specialties, wines, pastries from the region, and buy handicrafts, traditional objects for gifts. The market is in special surroundings of the Roman Theatre.

Opening hours: 10.00 am to 9.30 pm, with the exception of December 25th and 1st January 2015 from 2.00 pm to 9.30 pm.

If you are in Valtournenche or in the neighborhood the Christmas mass on the 24^th December with living nativity scene at the Carrel square can be an interesting option. Similar midnight mass will be also organized in Cogne, Torgnon, La Thuile, and La Salle.
