The Marché au Fort, in the charming medieval Village of Bard, is the most important and largest food- and wine event in the Aosta Valley.

All the flavours of the region are on display, and for sale, here, presented by not less than 96 local producers. The visitors will get to know all the delicacies offered by the region; cheeses, meats, wines, honey and variety of fruits and sweets.

The participants, large and small, are involved in entertainment and performance in the village's narrow streets, all the way up to the imposing Fort Bard. Wine tasting, show cooking, musical entertainment and free activities for children and families are on the program.

Marché au Fort is a real enogastronomical festival, surrounded by the splendid countryside of lower Valle d’Aosta, with its typical vines, large chestnut forests and historical centers.
