At the end of July Cervinia will celebrate film world during Cervino CineMountain Film Festival, the highest festival in the world.
The festival will take place in Breuil-Cervinia and Valtournenche between the 30th July and the 7th August. Apart from the festival in Trento it is the most important film festival in Italy dedicated to mountain cinema.
Established in 1998, the film festival in Cervinia focuses not only on mountains, but it uses that as a starting point for discussion about the environment, climate, sport, culture, and history.
During the festival presented films can compete and win awards in different categories, for the best film on mountaineering granted by CAI, Club Alpino Italiano, among others.
