Only 89 days left to one of the biggest sport event in the Aosta Valley. Tor des Géants is the endurance trail race that goes through the most spectacular Four-Thousanders on the Alta Via trails. Two years ago we were there! Read our report.
Tour of Giants is the only race that combines long distance with the individual style of runners. A participant, who completes the race in the shortest time, wins. Runners decide when they want to rest and stop, and for how long. However, the total length – 330 km – must be completed in less than 150 hours. Because of its high level of difficulty only 60% of all participants finish the race.

It is a unique race that goes through Alta Via trails, the spectacular Gran Paradiso National Park and the Mont Avic Regional Park. The character of the trail requires special logistic and that’s why only 700 people can take part in the race. In 2015 there are already over 2000 preregistered runners that would like to be one of 700 Giants.
Tour of Giants will start and end in Courmayeur, between 13-20th September.
