For the very first time the highest altitude alpine skiing competition opens its door for junior athletes. The famous Trofeo Mezzalama starts this weekend.
Young sportsmen can take part in the 2015 edition of the Mezzalama Trophy, in the special section, the Mezzalama Jeunes Trophy. Female and male teams made up of two athletes from the junior and cadet categories shall be in possession of the Carta Grande Course Jeunes, and regularly enrolled in the Ski Federation of the their home country
The racing starts on 24th April and covers the route between Gabiet and Stafal sector in Gressoney-La-Trinité.

8:30 Meeting-point for athletes in junior race at the Stafal-Gabiet cable-car departure
8:30 GABIET – start of 1st edition of the Mezzalama Jeunes race
13:00 STAFAL – finish line and flower ceremony for winners of junior race
The Race directors could change the established route in the interest of the competition and with particular regard to athletes’ safety.
